Description
THIS SPECTACULAR CROCHETED BLANKET WOULD MAKE A PERFECT GIFT THIS CHRISTMAS.
The design for this spectacular crocheted blanket is inspired by the many galleries of the breathtakingly beautiful Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (Museum of Natural History) in Paris, which is highlighted in the book All The Light We Cannot See by the award-winning author, Anthony Doerr. Those taking part in the Crochetalong were encouraged to read the book while working on the project. If you look carefully at the blanket you will see butterflies, bees, flowers, leaves and even elephants hidden in the design.
Yarn: 100% acrylic, washable on a cool wash, cool tumble dry ok but not really recommended for handmade blankets as it can stretch the stitches.
Designed by Christina Hadderingh. Made by Gemma Biggs, parent at St Luke’s
designer, Christina Hadderingh, is credited in the description – this is important. Please could you say it is made by me, a parent of a child at St Luke’s.
